Insanity, it's spreading

Goddamnit!

I go back to bed for an hour this morning, and wake up to find out that Benazir Bhutto has been assassinated.

Suicide bombers, what is wrong with these people? No, seriously, it's got to be a mental illness.

Don't be surprised if martial law, followed by revolution, followed by chaos descends on Pakistan.

Oh, and they have nuclear weapons.

Jim, as soon as I heard the news, my reaction was identical to yours - great, a nuclear power with massive civil unrest. Swell.

Duck and cover, children.

At least they're voluntarily removing themselves from the gene pool.. Hopefully, they'll get that job over and done sooner rather than later, though.

Saw that this morning on the way out the door. Great, nuclear power with major civil unrest...

But wait, there's more.

Nuclear power with major civil unrest that is right next door to another nuclear power that has a vested interest in the outcome of that unrest.

But wait, there's more.

Two nuclear powers that haven't always been the nicest of friends, now with both eyes watching major civil unrest and collapse of political structure (possible) and decent into full Military Control of one state (or at least long term martial law), and they are on the front lines and our closest allies in the War on Terror.

Writer's mantra, "Things go form bad to worse. Cycle repeats."

Look like she actually died of head injuries, not bullet wounds or shrapnel.

Of course, that report could be a fabrication by the Pak government in order to calm civil unrest. No proof of that obviously.
