What in the hell did I do with it?

You know you're getting older when you misplace expensive software.

I still can't find the double dammed Corel Paintshop CD. I have no idea what I did with it. This is seriously starting to harsh my mellow.

Update: I just realized that you also know you're getting older when you use phrases like "harsh my mellow." Sigh

  1. "Harsh my mellow." I like it. :)

  2. Also - how's the writing going so far?

  3. When I was a teenager, "Harshing my mellow" was a common phrase. Guess when that was.

The writing is going quit well, thank you. So far this morning I updated my ZEN library, taken two dozen pictures of my bowls, and right now I'm putting the finishing touches on a Demotivational Poster (which will be up on the site in a minute). I think this is called the "Scalzi Method" of writing.

Actually I've got a full outline completed, and about about 2000 words on 'paper.' So, you know, it's coming along. How's your project coming?

  4. Mine's at 3576 words at the moment, middle of chapter 4 (yes, they're very short chapters). And I expect my apartment will become much cleaner over the course of this month. :)

  5. Just revised the main character. I was stuck there for a while and realized that I'd made a rookie mistake - the protagonist had a background I wasn't qualified to write about. So I changed him, now it works. And it made the story much more interesting in the process. Now I'm back on track and moving along.
